Naked 3 Makeup Look

It is taking a lot in me to even post this on my blog, I am as it happens very camera-shy. But, here is a look that I created a while back including all shades from the Naked 3, I will try my hardest to show the steps and the order, but this is my first time doing a post in this style so don’t be too harsh on me! I will be focusing on the eye makeup but ย I am also showing you my face makeup!

Here goes:

Step 1:

Firstly, I always prime my face usually after putting a moisturiser on. The one I am using is ‘Porefessional’ by Benefit, (this is my absolute favourite primer).

Step 2:

Then it is time for foundation, my favourite for summer is, I guess, called ‘The Foundation’ by Topshop, in the shade 1.0. This is a very lightweight, water based foundation and I like to blend it in with a Real Techniques ‘Complexion Sponge’, this prevents the streaks that can be caused by a brush when using a lighter foundation.

Step 3:

Next I use the Rimmel ‘Match Perfection’ concealer in the shade 010 Ivory and I also blend this in with my sponge! I am not going to put this in but I set all my face with the Maybelline ‘Matte Maker’ powder in the shade 30 Natural Beige, using a fluffy brush, which is usually my Real techniques multi-task brush.

Step 4:

Then I do my cheeks. The bronzer I use is ‘Hoola’ and the blusher is ‘Rockateur’. These work really well together as they are both very warm toned.

Step 5:

Then it is eyebrow time! I use the Collection Eyebrow Kit in the colour ‘Brunette’ and then I set it with the gel that comes in the Kit, it also includes a brush which I am using in the pictures above.

Step 6:

Time for the actual eye makeup! I use the first matte shadow you can see in the picture all in my crease, I worked this in and built it up too create a soft and deep crease look to start. Then, I added the fourth shade you can see to intensify this look.

Then I used the darker shades and put this more on the outer part of my crease. I decided for this look I wanted a sharp cat line so I folded up a round cotton wool pad, put makeup remover on it and swiped in the direction up to the end of my eyebrow, this cleaned my look up perfectly.

I added a small faint wing, using a dark brown eyeshadow and an angled eyeshadow brush. I really like this part of the look!

Step 7:

I always think mascara finishes a look, so I am adding my favourite one by.. funnily enough Benefit, this is the one called’They’re Real’. It is really good with lengthening and boosting, love it!!

Step 8:

Forget everything else! Highlighter is my favourite step during applying my makeup!! This is the highlighter that I have been absolutely loving for forever. It is a liquid, and gives a pink satin colour which is really metallic and gleams like the gates of heaven. I just blend it with my fingers!

So this is my look, I actually kind of enjoyed taking you through all of this, sorry for all the cringe-worthy photos of me. If you liked this post, please let me know so if there is a next time I do one of these I can get more prepared, haha!!

Thank you for reading and please feel free to comment asking questions and follow my blog for more of.. well, me.
