Hello, again! I have been so busy recently I completely forgot I had to do a review on a new product I bought. After all the hype surrounding the Morphe 35O Palette, I really wanted to get my hands on it but as many of you beauty enthusiasts probably know it is constantly sold out! So, when I found out they had made a shimmer and matte version of it for £19.95 each, I had to get my hands on the matte one. This the website I used:
The last time I checked this palette was sold out, hopefully it comes back in stock soon!
Beauty Bay is my all time favourite beauty website, its delivery time is perfect (I got my order in less than 24 hours whilst not paying for next day delivery), and their endless list of different brands and new products makes their website my favourite place to go shopping!
Anyway, here is the outside view of the palette. I wouldn’t say it is the prettiest packaging but sturdy enough for the price.
When I opened it I knew instantly I would love this palette, the shades are so neutral and warm, but there is actually a few cool tone browns and grey tone base colours as well which is fab! I took a couple pictures of the shades:
I obviously as I always do, did swatches of each row and I will point out anything to do with that row if needed! By the way, there are only two rough/crumbly shades out of the whole 35 and they are the two you can see on the right hand side picture! The rest are super buttery, smooth and beautiful!
This row is full of base and transition shades. All of these are so creamy and pigmented its actually unreal! My favourite is the first white colour, there is one quite similar to it in my other 35W Morphe palette which I also did a review on, and it is so pretty and blocks my vainy eyelids! Hehe!
The row is again very soft and subtle warm browns and oranges! I love the orange colour (fifth in), it looks so good in the crease just on its on as a subtle eyeshadow look! I LOVE it.
This is when the colours become a bit deeper, this row includes two cool tone shades and the rest are warm with a red undertone! I like the last shade it is a bit more of a peachy orange, which I really enjoy.
This row is full of browns, they do look quite similar in the pans but they are really different swatched and applied on the eye. The first shade is such a gorgeous chocolate brown and blends seamlessly!
My favourite is the fifth shade in, it is an almost grey-brown and it is very, very beautiful to deepen up the crease.
The thing I love about this palette, is that it doesn’t have your generic black shades, it focuses more on your everyday and different brown and golden colours which is so good for someone building their makeup collection! So, overall I would definitely recommend this palette to anyone who wants a great everyday palette. Especially with this price tag (if you think about it, 35 divided by £19.95 is 0.57p per pan, which is amazing for the quality).
Please let me know in the comments whether you think I should do a makeup look using this palette, as I think that would be a cool way to show you how good this stuff is!!! As always, thank you for reading, please like and comment with any questions!
